SUMMARY:Audio Described Session – Battle of Britain Aircrew
DESCRIPTION:A live audio described handling session for blind or partially sighted visitors will bring alive the stories of some of ‘The Few’ – the Battle of Britain aircrew. \nThe session will incorporate the Museum’s unique handling collection to illustrate the bravery shown by these young men in the face of adversity. Highlighting the diversity of the aircrew\, there will be a special focus on Polish aircrew to correspond with the last day of the Museum’s temporary exhibition ‘17\,000 Reasons to Remember’. \nAll live audio described events are free. Due to limited places advance booking is required at enquiries@bentleypriorymuseum.org.uk or on 020 8950 5526. \nPlease arrive at 10.15am for a prompt start.
