DESCRIPTION:New for the Summer Holidays – an exciting\, interactive Pilot School for families!\nPlease Note: The gallery activities will have to close a 2pm today\, Monday 6th August. The Learning Centre activity [model gliders] will still be on until 3pm. \n\nBuild a radar tower\nCreate & launch mini-parachutes\nConstruct and fly a model glider\nSit in a replica Spitfire cockpit\nLearn unusual RAF pilot code\nComplete all activities to graduate from Pilot School and collect your prize!\n\nPilot School activities are ideally suitable for children aged 7+. Accompanying colouring activities available for younger children. \nThere is no need to pre-book\, Pilot School is a drop-in activity and is available 11am – 3pm on our open days (Mondays\, Wednesdays\, Fridays\, Saturdays) between Saturday 21st July and Saturday 1st September. \nIncluded in Museum admission; children aged 5 and under are free with accompanying adults.
